Directorate General for Social Cohesion
The Directorate General for Social Cohesion (DGCS) is responsible for designing, overseeing, and evaluating public policies on solidarity, social development, and the promotion of equality that foster social cohesion. The DGCS operates under the authority of the Ministry for Gender Equality and the Fight Against Discrimination and, in particular, coordinates public policies regarding women’s rights and gender equality in the workplace.
It thus supports the activities of France Active, which is fully aligned with this approach to promoting and disseminating financing options dedicated to women’s entrepreneurship.
In addition, France Active has developed, with the support of the DGCS, a bank loan guarantee specifically designed for women: the ÉGALITÉ Femmes guarantee. Its goal? To facilitate access to bank credit for female entrepreneurs who are job seekers or in precarious situations.
