What programs and training courses are available to strengthen your strategy?

Designed for projects in the ideation and launch phases. In particular, they include an assessment of your strengths, weaknesses, and needs; support in analysing the project’s feasibility and associated risks; help in developing your funding strategy; guidance on building commitment; and connections with the right local partners to help you get started (banks, local governments, community groups, etc.).

The France Active training centre, which is Qualiopi-certified, explores four themes: strengthening social utility (analysis, evaluation, and development of its commitment); transforming its business model (toward an ever-stronger social utility); securing funding (identifying needs, engaging investors, optimizing terms); and effectively managing its operations (activities, financial statements, cash flow, etc.).

The DLA program is designed for social-purpose organizations (associations, social economy enterprises, cooperatives, etc.) to support the growth of their workforce and their projects. Based on a comprehensive assessment, it helps them strengthen their business model, improve their strategy, consolidate or expand their workforce, review their governance, and develop partnerships. This is a national program launched in 2002 involving the French government, the European Social Fund (ESF), the Banque des Territoires, local authorities, the Mouvement Associatif, and ESS France. Among others, it is implemented by France Active.

Fact sheets, practical guides, document templates… a wide range of practical resources and tools are available online or at local association support centres to help you develop your project and build your strategy.

These programs are designed for organizations and businesses that are facing difficulties in continuing their operations. Based on a comprehensive assessment of your organization, they help you identify the most effective strategies for reviving your operations and securing your future. In some cases, they may lead to funding.
