Emmaüs France
The Mouvement Emmaüs places social projects and solidarity far above economic or individualistic considerations and promotes an alternative model of society, where work and community life enable people to rebuild their lives while helping others.
This Movement, which today brings together more than 38,000 people (volunteers, Companions, employees, and workers in job-training programs) throughout France, is also present in 37 countries around the world. Constantly evolving, it is both a hub for social innovation and a committed front advocating for a more just and environmentally friendly society, particularly through its long-standing work in collecting, reusing, and reselling items.
A partnership charter, signed in 2024 with France Active, aims to strengthen support and funding for the Movement’s organizations throughout France.
