General Delegation for Employment and Vocational Training
Responsible for implementing the government’s policies on employment and vocational training, the General Delegation for Employment and Vocational Training (DGEFP)—which operates under the authority of the Ministry of Labor and Solidarity—oversees these initiatives in consultation with all employment stakeholders and manages programs supported by the European Social Fund (ESF+) in France.
It thus provides support to France Active in two main areas: support for the guidance and funding of project leaders involved in integration initiatives through the Social Cohesion Fund, and the professionalization of the France Active network as part of the ESF+ National Operational Program.
Since 2021, the Ministry of Labor and Solidarity has also supported France Active’s Accès + initiative, which is aimed at individuals eligible for integration through economic activity (IAE), as part of the Inclusion par le Travail Indépendant (ITI) program.
