Les Scop

The CG Scop serves as the spokesperson for the 90,000 employees of SCOPs (Société Coopérative et Participative) and SCICs (Société coopérative d’intérêt collectif) in dealings with government authorities and political, economic, and social stakeholders. It participates in the drafting of laws and regulations pertaining to cooperative law. It serves on the Higher Council for Cooperation and the Economic, Social, and Environmental Council (CESE). Finally, the CG Scop represents its members before the European Commission, the European Parliament, and cooperative bodies.
The Scop network offers a comprehensive range of services to member SCOP and SCIC as well as to project initiators: personalized onboarding and support, legal assistance, financing solutions tailored to both business creation and growth, training, and professional networking.
France Active and the CG Scop have been collaborating for many years to support and finance SCOPs and SCICs throughout the country. As part of the launch and rollout of its new solidarity-based investment solutionss, France Active formed a partnership with the CG Scop in 2023 to raise awareness among its members about their investment needs. The CG Scop also participates in the La Place de l’Emergence program as an expert.
