Career of Alexis Masse, Chairman of France Active Investissement
A former teacher, journalist, and senior civil servant, Alexis Masse heads France Active Investissement. He harnesses finance to promote a more sustainable economy, while also steering GRDF’s strategy.
A graduate of the ENS Paris-PSL with an Aggregation in Economic and Social Sciences (1997), a graduate of the ENA (2009), and a General Inspector of Finance, Alexis Masse taught, wrote, and served the government before joining GRDF as Director of Strategy. There, he made CSR a central part of his work and chaired the Forum for Responsible Investment for five years.
Since 2021, he has served as chairman of France Active Investissement (FAI). Together with partners such as Mirova (BPCE Group), he supports entrepreneurs committed to addressing climate and social challenges at the local level. He also promotes solidarity-based savings, reaffirming his commitment to more inclusive finance.
